New York: The World Health Organization has warned that corona may never be eradicated, but may turn into a permanent disease.
During a media briefing, the WHO director said that there is a risk that the coronavirus may turn into endemic. Countries need to strengthen their ability to diagnose new cases.

Director Mike Ryan said the risks of spreading the virus are much higher in air travel than inland.
